The material is first loaded into the dispersing feeder by a loader, then transferred to the feeding belt conveyor by the coal slime dispersing feeder, and then enters the drum spiral propulsion device.

Next, the material is swiftly guided by the high-angle guiding plate to the inclined lifting area, where, under the rotation of the drum and the inclination of the drum body in the coal slime rotary drum dryer machine, it is lifted from the bottom to the top of the drum, forming a “curtain of material”. At this point, hot flue gas passes through the curtain of material, conducting and exchanging heat with the wet material, preheating and evaporating some of the moisture.

Subsequently, the wet material enters the medium-temperature drying stage of the coal slime rotary drum dryer machine, where most of the moisture is evaporated. The material and the flue gas continuously mix and exchange heat until reaching thermal equilibrium and meeting the moisture requirements, then discharged from the drying drum.

The exhaust gas, containing a large amount of water vapor and dust after heat exchange, first undergoes rough cleaning through a primary cyclone dust collector, then undergoes fine cleaning through a secondary bag filter or wet dust collector, and finally emits purified exhaust gas with a dust content controlled below 50 mg/m3, meeting environmental standards, completing the entire drying process.
