Gypsum, as a mineral, plays a crucial role in various industrial and construction applications. However, due to its high moisture content and significant viscosity, the utilization of gypsum has been restricted in the past, thus failing to fully showcase its potential value. With the introduction of gypsum dryers(gypsum rotary dryers), this situation has changed. These machines facilitate gypsum drying, filling the gap in the effective utilization of gypsum resources, thus enabling their full exploitation and preventing resource wastage.

Desulfurization gypsum
Titanium gypsum

The gypsum drying machine, specifically engineered to accommodate the characteristics of gypsum, efficiently dries gypsum with high moisture content, thereby enhancing its versatility and application value. Gypsum dryers can handle various materials such as desulfurization gypsum, phosphogypsum, titanium gypsum, fluorine gypsum, salt gypsum, and chemical gypsum. Post-drying, gypsum finds extensive utility not only in the construction and medical sectors but also proves pivotal across various other domains. This innovation not only holds positive implications for environmental protection but also delivers more significant economic benefits to users, thereby fostering sustainable industrial development. Therefore, the introduction of gypsum rotary dryer is crucial for enhancing the comprehensive utilization efficiency of gypsum resources and driving the development of related industries.

Gypsum Drying Process in Gypsum Dryer

Gypsum Drying Machine Unit

The processing of gypsum typically begins with loading it onto a feeder machine using a forklift, followed by uniform conveyance to a belt conveyor via the feeder machine. Subsequently, it is guided into the interior of a drying machine through a feed pipe. Under the combustion of the fuel in the thermal oil furnace, heat is transferred to the main unit via the thermal oil, where it undergoes thermal exchange with the gypsum. Within the drying drum, the gypsum is stirred by scraper blades, ensuring thorough contact with hot air, thus accelerating the drying process of gypsum and facilitating the evaporation and heat and mass transfer of moisture.

The gypsum dryer manufactured by AGICO adopts a sealed structure, effectively reducing heat loss and enhancing thermal efficiency. After drying, the gypsum is discharged through a discharge hopper and transported to a designated location for storage. The upper part of the discharge hopper is equipped with a dust removal system, which can effectively handle pollutants such as dust generated during the process, thereby achieving environmental protection goals. This comprehensive processing workflow ensures the efficient utilization of gypsum resources while also meeting environmental requirements, providing reliable support for the development of related industries.
