RDF fuel rotary kiln is a rotary kiln product that uses refuse-derived fuel (RDF) as fuel. Refuse-derived fuel (RDF) refers to waste-derived fuel, also known as Solid recovered fuels (SRF), which can be granular, columnar, or honeycomb in shape. The fuel manufacturing plant sorts out waste plastics, waste slag, wood chips, PVC, etc. from general garbage, and after crushing, drying, pressing, and solidification, it becomes harmless RDF solid fuel.
Cement Kiln System with RDF Fuel
RDF rotary kiln is mostly used for cement manufacturing in cement plants. Refuse-derived fuel (RDF) can be used in cement plants in two main ways, direct combustion, and conversion to producer gas.
Direct combustion of RDF in preheaters/precalciners and rotary kilns by partial substitution of fossil fuels used to increase raw meal temperature. This can be achieved in two ways: first, crushed and pulverized RDF is mixed with coal or petroleum coke for kilns, and second, solid block RDF is fed directly into the RDF fuel rotary kiln and/or preheater/precalciner combustion chamber.
RDF can also be converted to producer gas and co-fired in a kiln using gas burners. We call the unit systems RDF fuel cement kiln systems, which use RDF fuel, and the unit usually consists of the RDF cement kiln, RDF preheated calciners, RDF preheaters, and ancillary equipment.
